Canavar just moved in! Nov, 2022

MRE has a new neighbor!
Sumo is a like a big hood where artists come together. So let’s welcome Canavar, Sumo’s new resident at the Space studio.

Canavar, aka Canavar.ca, is a mural artist from İstanbul known for his use of negative aesthetics in his pieces. From using corrupt-like drawings for political satire to horrific roaches to disturb the viewers, Canavar can utilize ugliness to evoke emotions in the viewers in a wide spectrum.

Thankfully he showed the hood some mercy and draw “unloved flowers” to make clear that beauty can be found in the most unexpected of places, and indeed it is found. They will be loved.

Now his flowers are right next to MRE’s hungry MREs. Let’s hope they can control their appetite.
